Hello I'm Kevin Lindegaard and I'm a huge fan of the music of Aaron Copland. I hope my blog will help spread the legacy of this colossus of 20th Century Music. I'm no musician myself but I have ears and I will try to communicate what moves me about Copland's music.
Most people use music as a couch; they want to be pillowed on it, relaxed and consoled for the stress of daily living. But serious music was never meant to be soporific.
